JJ Grey @ Red Rocks Amphitheater on 9/22
Southern-funk swamp-rockers JJ Grey & Mofro will perform at Red Rocks Amphitheater on September 22 in support of their celebrated release Ol' Glory (Provogue Records/Mascot Label Group). The album features the soulful blend of blues, rock, gospel and gritty R&B which have become synonymous with the band. The New York Times, Garden & Gun, USA Today and many more have praised Ol' Glory for its personal, Southern-inspired narratives.
The Wall Street Journal said, "It’s an inviting collection of soulful rock ’n’ roll with a funky, down-home Southern feel...” Relix called the album's title track "a gripping, soul-baring, ad-libbed, kneel-down-and-testify force field of funk sure to be a concert favorite..."
