If you haven't caught up, this year has seen Khruangbin in the middle of an impressive year-long journey that salutes their continually refined live performance. With contributions from esteemed friends globally, this initiative celebrates the band's flair for improvisation, their varied touring companions, and the memorable live shows they deliver.
As part of this endeavor, they've been unveiling a sequence of LPs spotlighting live renditions from the band alongside guest performances from the likes of Kelly Doyle, Ruben Moreno, The Suffers, and Robert Ellis at Austin, Texas' Stubb’s (LP1); Nubya Garcia at NYC’s Radio City (LP2); Men I Trust at RCB Echo Beach in Toronto (LP3); and now, the outstanding Toro Y Moi at The Fillmore, Miami (LP4).
Although Khruangbin is currently off the touring circuit, their past engagements speak volumes about their global influence. The band has featured in numerous global tours and has taken the stage at nearly all major global festivals including Glastonbury, Primavera, Coachella, and several others.
Renowned as a dedicated touring ensemble, 2022 saw Khruangbin undertake their most significant tour yet. Highlights from this journey include multiple sold-out nights at LA’s Greek Theatre, NYC’s Radio City Music Hall, and a mesmerizing act at London's legendary Alexandra Palace. As Khruangbin's live performances continue to garner a loyal fanbase, the band remains equally zealous about spotlighting their chosen musicians, emphasizing a vibrant spectrum of touring companions.
