Preoccupied with the pain that both tests us and leads us to discover what we’re truly capable of, In The Dark finds LVNDR.SOUND retrospectively reflecting on the feat of freeing yourself of the all-consuming feeling of darkness that accompanies immense struggle while introducing a more vocal centric approach to their sound and exploring a landscape of future bass, electro soul, house, hip hop, and nu-age funk.

In tandem with the self-produced and self-engineered release, LVNDR.SOUND have also shared their bittersweet new single “Nostalgic Nights,” a hazy, atmospheric banger that draws inspiration from legends such as Daft Punk and Chromeo, and fuses electronic sensibilities with Nile Rodgers-style funk guitar to recall the days of youth when life seemed easier and muse on the lengths we all go to in order to escape, rather than confront, our reality. The 11-track collection includes LVNDR.SOUND’s recent single and title track "In The Dark,” a moody dance bop which confronts life's darkest moments to reflect on the hardships which shape us into better versions of ourselves. In The Dark is also highlighted by the lead single “You Must Think,” a chill house track and playful nod to idea that sometimes, to pursue our passions, we have to embrace a bit of craziness, the pensive “Never Found” featuring Halle Tomlinson that speaks to the reality that, even when we move on and heal, the pain leaves an imprint on our souls, and the banger “All Night,” which fuses hip-hop and EDM with special guest Gordo Flea in a testament to the power of creative partnership and creating something greater than the sum of its parts.
