Melody Trucks, the daughter of the late Butch Trucks of the Allman Brothers Band, is a dynamic vocalist and percussionist who has graced stages at major music festivals such as Peach Fest, Suwannee Rising, and Hulaween. Her performances captivate audiences, thanks to her lifelong exposure to music and her collaborations with artists like George Porter Jr., Oteil Burbridge, and John Medeski.
Bobby Lee Rodgers, a gifted guitarist, singer, and songwriter, brings his unique blend of rock, funk, jazz, and blues to the tour. A founding member of The Codetalkers with Col. Bruce Hampton, Bobby is known for his distinctive sound, achieved by playing through a combination of a Leslie cabinet and a vintage guitar amp. This innovative approach gives his performances a rich, organ-like quality, paired with his skillful guitar work. Bobby’s impressive career includes collaborations with Vassar Clements, Warren Haynes, and Widespread Panic. Currently, he is celebrating the 20th anniversary tour of Jazz is Dead.
This tour promises to be an unforgettable experience as Melody Trucks and Bobby Lee Rodgers share their musical talents in intimate settings. Don’t miss the opportunity to see these two renowned artists up close on their "Listening Room Tour."
