Sweetwater Music Hall, located at 19 Corte Madera Avenue in Mill Valley, California, announces its upcoming lineup of live music and community events taking place through March and April. As a 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization, Sweetwater Music Hall is dedicated to enriching the cultural landscape by offering an intimate venue for all genres of music and all ages. Highlights of the upcoming schedule include The Mother Hips on March 20, reggae legend Yellowman with DJ Sep on March 21, and a special day of bluegrass and blues on March 23, featuring a Marin Bluegrass Sessions open jam in the afternoon and Tommy Castro & the Painkillers with Mitch Woods celebrating a new record release that evening. San Domenico Band Workshop and Raise Your Voice (March 24) and open mic nights with Matt Jaffe (March 25, April 8, and April 22) continue the month’s engaging programming, alongside performances by Ray Charles Project (March 26), Gary Lucas (March 27), and BandWorks (March 31).
In April, the schedule features LOVE with Johnny Echols (April 3) and two consecutive nights with Jorma Kaukonen and John Hurlbut (April 4 and 5). Evie Sands and Bridget St. John appear on April 6, followed by Matthew Logan Vasquez on April 9, Steely Dead on April 10, and Illeagles on April 11. Ryan Montbleau (April 12) and Third World with DJ Sep (April 13) add further variety. Yonder Mountain String Band graces the venue on April 18 and 19, with Moonalice performing on April 20. April concludes with Mark Karan’s Budz (April 23), Melissa Ferrick (April 24), Super Diamond (April 25), and Sol Horizon performing a Bob Marley Tribute (April 26).
