Positioned amidst the picturesque scenery in Roosevelt National Forest, along the banks of the Poudre River, Riverside Colorado and Mishawaka Amphitheatre are creating a new experience for the concert and leisure industries. Mishawaka, the sister company to Riverside Colorado, is an internationally recognized live music destination that has evolved over the last 50 years into a reliable home to some of the world’s most cherished artists. The announcement of a partnership with Live Nation, fortifies the lineups that the community has come to expect with groundbreaking national and international artists.

Dani Grant, owner of Mishawaka Amphitheatre, explains, "We are excited to redefine Mishawaka as a destination venue. People come from all over the country to see shows and our 2 and 3 day runs are tough to navigate. Riverside Colorado caters to this need by providing a sustainable lodging experience just a short shuttle ride from the concert excitement. With Live Nation’s support, we’re able to offer a diverse lineup that draws even more visitors."

Riverside Colorado provides guests seeking a vacation and getaway near the famous Mishawaka Amphitheatre. Historically, concertgoers would find places to camp that were not neighborhood-friendly or safe.  A common sight that made neighbors cringe was a tent pitched on the side of the highway with a leg poking out onto the asphalt. When Grant acquired Mish in 2010, she instituted a shuttle option for guests that now diverts over 2 million miles of traffic a year and carries 40-60% of patrons to each show. Grant further details, "This is not the Mish you might remember. Many improvements to the facility have been implemented over the 14 years we've been investing in her. The views and beauty of the surroundings remain but long gone is the pea gravel yard and old ratchet fence line. Our team has lovingly and diligently upgraded her. Anywhere you post up in the venue, it's an intimate experience with excellent sound, lighting, and clear views of the band. With the help of promoters like Live Nation, we've become a regional and national destination where you can experience art, a full-service restaurant, local beverages, live music, nature, wildlife, and comfort uniquely.” Whether you're here for the adrenaline of rafting the class 5 rapids of the wild and scenic Poudre River, relaxing while fly fishing, or catching live performances from your favorite bands, there's finally an option to kick it for days up the canyon.

These upgrades have given the Mish the capability to host increasingly more famous artists. The addition of Live Nation’s promotions extends bookings to another 10 or more shows a season. Live Nation’s bench of artists is deep and wide, providing extensive genre offerings and popular bands that would be out of reach without their efforts. Last year's notable performances included Umphrey’s McGee and Band of Horses. The upcoming season promises acts such as queer black artist Joy Oladokun, Disco Biscuits, Nightmares on Wax, Ghostland Observatory, Drew Holcomb & The Neighbors, and STRFKR.
