With over 25 years of groundbreaking blues-infused rock, 12 albums, five GRAMMY® nominations, and an enduring commitment to musical innovation, the Dickinson brothers are ready to set the night ablaze. Joining them is Jontavious Willis, a Grammy-nominated blues artist whose authentic style and soulful energy have captivated audiences worldwide.
The North Mississippi Allstars’ latest release, Set Sail (New West Records), features a fusion of Southern roots, psychedelic rock, and soulful blues, showcasing their deep familial and musical connections. With an ever-evolving lineup and a legacy rooted in collaboration, the band continues to redefine roots music for the modern age.
About the Band:
Founded by brothers Luther and Cody Dickinson in 1996, the North Mississippi Allstars have built a reputation as torchbearers of Southern blues traditions, blending them with a modern flair. Their performances are known for their electrifying energy and improvisational prowess, drawing audiences into their unique sound, which they describe as “Primitive Modernism.”
For their Set Sail album, the band welcomed Lamar Williams Jr. (son of Allman Brothers bassist Lamar Williams Sr.) and bassist Jesse Williams into their lineup, further strengthening their legacy as a musical family. Songs like “Set Sail Part I” and “See the Moon” capture the essence of their shared journey—fusing tradition, innovation, and an unbreakable bond.
