The 38th Annual Old Settler’s Music Festival announces its schedule for its annual family-friendly event April 24-27 just 45 minutes south of Austin Texas, on a beautiful 145-acre ranch. Whether you are coming for the day or the weekend, there is flexibility to camp or stay for the day. Kids activities, yoga, glamping, onsite parking, RV friendly campgrounds, food and merch vendors and much more. On Wednesday of the festival, attendees and amateur musicians can sign up to play an open mic night which has become an annual tradition. There are different options for tickets including 4-Day, 3-Day and single-day festival passes, with options for early entry, VIP access, RVs and parking. Walk-in camping is included in all entry tickets. Kids tickets are only $5.

Old Settler’s has grown from a one-day bluegrass festival in 1987 into a nationally renowned four-day event attracting loyal music fans. Many return annually for amazing performances by both legendary and up-and-coming bluegrass, folk and Americana artists such as Jason Isbell, Brandi Carlile, Béla Fleck, Jerry Douglas, the War and Treaty, Alison Krauss, Los Lobos, the Jayhawks, Milk Carton Kids and the McCrary Sisters, and local favorites including Sarah Jarosz, Shakey Graves, Ray Wylie Hubbard and Shinyribs. A 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, Old Settler’s Music Festival is directed and staffed largely by devoted volunteers. The mission of Old Settler’s Music Festival Inc. is to bring a legacy of American roots music to a new age of listeners while preserving the music and a strong culture of family, friends, and community.
