Pink Talking Fish will be bringing their fusion of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Phish all around the country this Fall. The tour includes festivals, headlining premiere venues, multiple night runs, and a variety of concept shows including the debut of a PTF Kids show.
The 2019 Fall Tour kicks off on Labor Day Weekend with end of the summer season outdoor events including beach towns, an Umphrey’s McGee afterparty in Asbury Park and closing out at Lake George for Adirondack Independence Music Festival. The festival circuit continues in September with a stop in New Brunswick Canada for Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival with Robert Plant, Jason Isbell, Nathaniel Rateliff and more.
October brings PTF back to the Mid Atlantic States with a very special ‘Dark Side Of The Moon’ concept in Washington DC where the band will perform the classic album with Phish and Talking Heads songs intertwined through the album cuts. Next up is the Southeast Region with a debut in Nashville, a return to Atlanta after crushing Sweetwater 420 Festival and multiple headlining plays in the Carolinas and Georgia. October closes out with Halloween in Richmond VA with a ‘PTF is Bowie’ concept where the band will perform the music of Pink Floyd, Talking Heads, Phish AND David Bowie.
Halloween Weekend rolls on with a three-show run at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, CA. Each night at Sweetwater features a different concept show. PTF will perform their ‘Animals’ concept on Friday night with a full rendition of Pink Floyd album “Animals” including ‘animal style’ Phish and Talking Heads songs mixed in between. Saturday night will be a West Coast ‘PTF Is Bowie’ concept. And Sunday afternoon will be a very special Kids Show called “Pink Talking Fish (4 Kids)”. The band will start playing at 11AM and will perform an interactive kid friendly experience filled with singing, dancing, gadgets, prizes and more!
November also marks a return to Florida. Earlier this year, the band had to unexpectedly cancel their Florida performances, so PTF plans on delivering an action-packed special experience for these shows. Phish Tribute Act, Runaway Gin, will be on board to support these shows so this will be a fun ride for Phish Fans!
The Fall Tour closes out in Colorado with shows in Nederland and Denver.
PTF continues Summer Tour this week with festival performances at Jerry Jam in New Hampshire and Great South Bay Music Festival in Long Island NY.
