Sir Woman is proud to release their newest singles “Never Gonna Give Me Up” and “Who You Gonna Love”! The new singles come out ahead of the double album drop due out early next year and on the eve of their North American Tour.  Stream the new singles here:  “Never Gonna Give Me Up” and “Who You Gonna Love

The new songs take on Sir Woman’s iconic rolling funk/soul sound with “Never Gonna Give Me Up” carrying warm percussion and a smooth piano laden groove. “Who You Gonna Love” features harmonic strings and a soulful R&B melody. With the two singles Sir Woman announces their double album, “If It All Works Out” and “If it Doesn’t.”

Sir Woman reflects, “These albums are essentially made for a good and bad day…I’m making a ’69’ designed mood ring that you put on to help decide which record you are in the mood for.” “If It All Works Out” was produced by Matt Pence in Denton, TX, and “If It Doesn’t” was produced by Jason Burt and recorded at the famous Modern Electric Sound Recorders in Dallas, TX. They were mastered by Dave McNair Mastering. Pre-save the new albums here: “If It All Works Out” and “If It Doesn’t

Named Artist of the Year by 2024’s Austin Music Awards, Sir Woman has seen critical acclaim by notable tastemakers such as Rolling Stone, Spin, NPR, World Cafe - to name a few. The project was born from Kelsey Wilson, an Austin treasure, also known as the co-founder of Wild Child and member of the famed Glorietta (which included Matthew Logan Vasquez, Noah Gunderson, David Ramirez, and Nathaniel Ratefliff). In just a few years Sir Woman has catapulted to the forefront of live music and played over 25 festivals across the US this year alone, including Newport Folk Fest, Lagunitas music series, Hoodoo Mural Festival, Rocky Mountain Folk Fest and more. Continuing the streak, Sir Woman is set to perform a run of dates this October supporting Sammy Rae & The Friends. For more information about the upcoming tour and festival dates visit here.

About Sir Woman

To say that Sir Woman has taken the crowded Austin music scene by storm this past year, would be a massive understatement. With the release of their full-length self-titled debut, the band has quickly skyrocketed to headliner status at Austin’s most venerable clubs, and garnered Artist Of The Year at the 2023 Austin Music Awards, as well as features in Rolling Stone, Spin.com, Variety and the Cover of Austin Chronicle and many other press outlets.

The ensemble began as a solo vehicle for Wild Child/Glorietta vocalist Kelsey Wilson a mere two years ago. Their dynamic and joyful stage show led to quick buzz, with their recorded catalog quickly catching up to the acclaim (over 30m plays on Spotify alone).
