TAUK released Real TAUK, Vol. 3 today, as a free digital album on Nugs.net and on all streaming services. A now regular series of live releases highlighting live performances from recent shows,Volume 3 features 7 live highlights from their spring tour. Guitarist Matt Jalbert explains "We wanted to pick some of the newer songs for this volume of Real TAUK to showcase how they stretch out live, but we also had to mix in some older favorites like "On Guard" and “Tumbler”. Since announcing the "Feed The Beast” tour, the band has added support acts on all shows and added 2 additional shows to close out the year on 12/30 in Richmond, VA (with Jouwala Collective opening) and 12/31 supporting good friends Pigeons Playing Ping Pong at the ExploreAsheville.com Arena.
The band has also announced a special TAUKing Hendrix set on the Saturday of their two night hometown run next weekend at Brooklyn Bowl. They’ve enlisted Nick Cassarino of The Nth Power to perform a whole set of Jimi Hendrix tunes. Kendall Street Company opens the Friday show and PEAK opens Saturday. The rest of their fall tour will take them across the country over the course of 4 weeks, with the back half consisting of a co-headline run with JAZZ IS PHSH.
The final lineup for JAZZ is PHSH will be announced shortly. Founded in 2015 by The Chase Brothers, Adam Chase and Matthew Chase, JAZZ IS PHSH has quickly become a world renowned tribute to Phish, attracting some of the most influential musicians in the jazz and jam scenes to take part in this collective approach to paying tribute to one of the most important and influential bands in Rock and Roll history.
