Asheville NC’s Town Mountain kicks off a Fall Tour surrounding the release of their fourth album, “Leave the Bottle.” The album is officially released on September 4th, 2012 through Pinecastle Records.“Centered around strong, soulful vocals, and poised to stay put,” says Woody Platt of the Steep Canyon Rangers, “Town Mountain are true to bluegrass in all the right ways and this new project keeps them firmly connected to the traditions of the genre, while also allowing them to reach out into the broad horizon of string band music.
