The Long Hot Summer (festival) Days are finally here! Its’ been 1,095 days since we all got together back in June of 2019 to celebrate the namesake of your festival, John Hartford. We are in full jubilation mode and thrilled that next week y’all will descend upon the new and much larger venue at the Lawrence County Recreational Park in Springville, IN. We’ve got over 30 bands to facilitate the “Vamps In The Middle” of your musical tastes. We believe this roster of talent is as eclectic and varied as John Hartford. Our new location is much larger, and we’ve got plenty of primitive RV and tent camping spots still open. You are this event. We always ask you to bring someone you love, and you have. Please keep this up. Our laid-back groove and loving spirit have maintained because this is what we all strive for. We have an attendance cap because we do not want chaos. Single day tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday are now available for purchase. No Wednesday Single Day Tickets will be sold. Only a limited amount of single day tickets will be sold for each day and no single day camping passes will be sold. We limit the amount of people in the park so you can continue to have ample amounts of wiggle room. Can’t make the whole shindig? Never attended the festival before and curious about all the positive commotion? A single day ticket just might be the option for you. New for 2022 is a special Friday & Saturday combo ticket. Unlike single day tickets, this special combo ticket includes complimentary primitive camping. We listened to your feedback and many fans have requested an option that allows them to attend for two days and camp.
