Over the past six years, Elephant Revival has performed at nearly every WinterWonderGrass Festival, both in Colorado and North Lake Tahoe. Both WinterWonderGrass and Elephant Revival were created with similar values of harmony in mind, and both are excited to come together to deliver this special Caravan to WonderGrass celebration.
“The magic of Ojai is instantly revealed as you drive a few miles east from the wild Pacific. In Native American Chumash language, Ojai means ‘The Nest’, an abundant unspoiled environment, where the locals found use for almost every type of plant and animal available—for food, clothing, medicine and tools. Their environment inspired their art, beliefs, stories, ceremonies and songs. To partner with Elephant Revival, a group that aligns with our ideals of environmental and social activism in a place that espouses connectivity, mindfulness and community, is a true gift!
—WinterWonderGrass founder, Scotty Stoughton
“Scotty' true talent is to curate events that elicit ecstatic outcomes, where both the fans and artists feel supported and considered. To host the gathering in Ojai, CA, in the midst of late autumn, is such a great way to express our love for playing outdoors and celebrating community!”
—Daniel Rodriguez of Elephant Revival
The pristine community of Ojai is nestled in the Central California mountains, surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest, just a few miles from world class surfing, bountiful organic farming, yoga, hiking and biking. Camping is also available at a handful of campgrounds in the area. More information about other activities to do while in town can be found at www.ojaivisitors.com.
