Wreckless Strangers are thrilled to play a mini–Northern California tour as the support act for soul, funk, rock, and rhythm and blues band The Nth Power. The Wreckless Strangers will bring their unique blend of blues, R&B, Americana, and rock as they kick off shows at The Independent in San Francisco on December 14; Moe's Alley in Santa Cruz, on December 15; and Lost on Main in Chico, on December 16.
Wreckless Strangers will get the evenings started as they play fan favorites and songs from their new EP, Orange Sky Dream, produced by four-time Grammy award-winning engineer/producer Dave Way (Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Tracy Chapman, Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow). The Nth Power will keep the jam going with their relentlessly funky and soulful songs as they tap into an energy that is simultaneously sexy and spiritual, inspiring audiences to dance and groove the night away.

Hailing from the Bay Area, Wreckless Strangers is a tight-knit collective of six musicians whose journey began in 2016 as an informal jam session. Fast forward seven years, and the band has released three original albums and performed countless captivating shows. The band features Amber Morris (Premier Bay Area vocalist and voice coach – members of Journey, Eric Martin Band) on vocals; David Noble (Poor Man's Whiskey, Pardon The Interruption) on lead guitar, vocals; Joshua Zucker (The Jones Gang, Rowan Brothers) on bass; Austin de Lone (Nick Lowe, Elvis Costello, The Fabulous Thunderbirds) on keys, vocals; Mick Hellman (The Go To Hell Man Band) on drums, vocals; and Rob Anderson (repeat world champion cyclist) on guitar.
About The Nth Power
Formed during an impromptu late-night jam at Jazz Fest 2012 in New Orleans, the relentlessly funky and soulful band The Nth Power believes in music as a higher power tapping into an energy that is simultaneously sexy and spiritual, with songs that will inspire audiences to dance, groove, make love or stand there with goosebumps. The trio hails from diverse musical backgrounds, races, and creeds. Female powerhouse Nikki Glaspie was Beyonce’s world-touring drummer for five years before she joined Ivan Neville's New Orleans funk outfit, Dumpstaphunk. Bassist Nate Edgar of Groovechild and John Brown's Body perfectly complements singer and guitarist Nick Cassarino, who came from the Jennifer Hartswick Band and toured with Big Daddy Kane. The Nth Power’s inspirational sets have floored audiences at Electric Forest, Bear Creek, Catskill Chill and North Coast Music Festivals. The band has been relentlessly touring and writing for the past four years since their inception and continues to grow in their mission as they spread love and healing through music across the land. Although the band members are based across the East Coast, they maintain New Orleans as their spiritual home, and the celebratory essence of that city’s music culture is audible in each performance. Together, The Nth Power wants to change lives through a message of musical love and understanding.
