Despite an evening full of weather events, Phish delivered almond joy at HersheyPark Stadium last night in steamy Hershey, Pennsylvania, as the smell of chocolate filled the air. Fresh off a stellar run at Deer Creek in Indiana, the band continued crushing jams and playing sweet songs that reminded fans why they love this band so much.

Cali Roots is excited to add The Green to the welcome back to Monterey concert line-up taking place August 28th. This is the first event from the organizers set to take place at the iconic venue Monterey County fair and Event center since California’s re-opening announcement. The concert is a celebration of both the festival and bringing live music back to the fairgrounds, the festival’s home since the inception of the event over 11 years ago.

Today, blues singer/songwriter/guitarist/producer Colin Linden releases his newest track “Until the Heat Leaves Town” from his upcoming album bLOW, out September 17, 2021 (on Highway 20/Thirty Tigers). Keeping its eye on the horizon in 2020, DUSK is excited to announce that it will be returning to Downtown Tucson, November 13th and 14th, 2021.

GRAMMY-nominated artist Joe Troop’s new album is coming August 20 on Free Dirt Records and Rolling Stone has the premiere on his first music video for the album. It’s for his song “Mercy for Migrants,” featuring roots music stars Béla Fleck & Abigail Washburn. The song is Troop’s plea for empathy for those trying to cross the US border searching for a better life.

The Bootheels sprang to life for a few glorious months during the first half of 1988. Their brief existence was noted by a fortunate handful of friends and fans who happened to be in the right place and time to experience the youthful L.A. foursome’s meteoric creative surge and their equally swift dissolution. In between, the band developed a raw, distinctive rock ’n’ roll sensibility and a repertoire of catchy, funny, introspective songs that never had a chance to become records.
