The classic Gentle Giant line-up have reunited for the first time since 1980 for a unique new video. Pieced together over the last few months, it’s a brand new performance of “Proclamation” (originally from the band’s 1974 album “The Power & The Glory”) including appearances from Gentle Giant alumni Derek, Ray and Phil Shulman, Gary Green, Kerry Minnear, John Weathers and Malcolm Mortimore.

Boston-based funk band Jeb Bush Orchestra is releasing their second album on July 24th, titled Greatest Hits Vol. II. The album is a follow-up to their 2018 debut Greatest Hits, and follows the release of several EPs and live albums in 2019. The lead single from the album, “Space & Time,” was released on June 12th, followed by a second single, "Kung Fu Steve," on July 10th. Vol.

As a preliminary to next January’s second annual Samantha Fish Cigar Box Guitar Festival – New Orleans, the producers are rolling out a worldwide open call for musicians -- amateur or professional; solo, duo or group -- to participate in a contest based on video performances utilizing handmade stringed instruments: cigar box guitars, canjoes, pocket fiddles, washtub basses, diddley bows, etc., with cash prizes totaling $1,000.

From Nashville, TN via Provo UT, Desert Noises returns with Everything Always, the follow-up to their 2014 acclaimed release 27 Ways. The band recorded this effort in their adopted hometown with producer Bill Reynolds (Band of Horses), who built upon the group's melodic rock sound. Officially announced earlier in the week, My Morning Jacket have released their new record, The Waterfall II, an unforeseen and timely continuation of a psychic and sonic journey begun long ago. The album was massively inspired by the band’s idyllic surroundings in Stinson Beach, CA — and a sense of charmed isolation that frontman Jim James likened to “living on our own little moon.” There, the Kentucky-bred five-piece ended up creating over two dozen songs at the mountaintop studio known as Panoramic House.
