Returning for its eight year to the delight of four-season festival goers, WinterWonderGrass Festival will return yet again to Lake Tahoe, California at Squaw Valley Resort on March 27th-29th. Founded by Scotty Stoughton, a lifelong musician and festivalgoer alike, WinterWonderGrass, “aims to cultivate and nurture the relationship between nature, authentic music, and communal family, creating a vehicle for inspiration,” according to its mission statement.

The Allman Betts Band are currently on tour and they are delighting audiences in every city they play. They have their 2019 debut album Down To The River and another album in the can and ready for a summer release in 2020. The band is poised, well-rehearsed and performing amazing live shows. They are turning on legions of new fans not only to their music but also the legacy of the Allman Brothers Band.

Front Country isn’t just a cover band. I started exploring their original music which is perfectly crafted and powerful. Their talent as a group is undeniable, each musician bringing a special gift. Though I must call out Melody Walker for lead vocals, guitar and percussion. She reminds me of gospel singer Mahalia Jackson. She also embodies artist like Diana Ross, Anita Baker, Nora Jones, Alicia Key and Jennifer Hudson. All spectacular company.

Comprised of five of the most formidable musicians on the blues scene today — guitarist Kid Ramos, vocalist Brian Templeton, keyboardist Anthony Geraci, bassist Willie J. Genre-hopping multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams' Keller In The Caverns event will return for its second year on August 28 and 29. The unique music experience takes place in the spectacular underground setting of The Caverns, a subterranean concert hall located in a cave below the Cumberland Plateau in Pelham, TN.

Indie phenomenon John Craigie announces his newest album Asterisk the Universe, out June 12th via Thirty Tigers. Known for his wry wit, articulate lyrics and unmatched sense of humor, the charismatic singer/songwriter employs the captivating storytelling skills he has honed through years on the road. Political but not preachy, Asterisk the Universe features Craigie’s observant, character-driven lyrics alongside an earthy mix of soul, folk and rock. The result is his most inspired work to date.

Today artists including Ashley McBryde, Brandi Carlile, Brothers Osborne, Dan Auerbach, Jason Isbell, Margo Price, Sheryl Crow, Soccer Mommy, and Yola, announced they will be performing at “To Nashville, With Love,” a charity benefit concert to raise money for the people of Nashville, whose homes and lives were devastated by the recent tornado. Hosted on March 9 at Marathon Music Works. Tickets on sale now, priced at $75.

For the last couple of weeks, the talented and notorious Robinson Brothers have been making their way westward on their Brothers of a Feather Tour, playing intimate venues on two continents and showing audiences that neither has lost their love for music, the road, nor each other. With tickets going on sale February 10th, all 11 dates were sold out by day’s end and many venues, within minutes.
