Circles Around The Sun was always and will always be the musical baby of celebrated rock and roll musician Neal Casal. But CATS, as they go by for short, is still as much the musical journey of band members Adam McDougall, Dan Horne, and Mark Levy. The three have put miles and muscle into popular jam scene groups like Chris Robinson Brotherhood, Grateful Shred, and The Congress, but Circles continues as their singular, collective, and unique creation.

A Jersey City psych-rock duo channeling the spirit of 70’s-era Pink Floyd and My Morning Jacket, with a splash of afrobeat tendencies. The band debuted two original songs “Walk Tall” and “Panic Attack” in 2019 and have more single song releases leading to their debut EP release this Summer. Today they pay tribute to the Grateful Dead with the release of their video version of “Brokedown Palace.” The song will be available at all streaming platforms on Friday, February 28.

Ever since Bill Monroe stormed out of Kentucky 75 years ago with a hot new take on traditional tunes, bluegrass music’s metric drive and high lonesome sound has thrilled and inspired audiences around the world. That bluegrass high energy and soulfulness was captured live in December of 2019 at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame & Museum in Owensboro, Kentucky for BLUEGRASS NOW!, a nationally televised PBS special premiering Saturday, February 29.

AEG Presents is thrilled to announce SLIGHTLY STOOPID's TWO night run at Red Rocks Amphitheatre Saturday, August 15 & Sunday, August 16, 2020. The Ocean Beach, CA ensemble will be performing a unique set each night. Saturday night the band will play a Slightly Stoopid & Friends electric set with special guests on August 15th. Then on Sunday, August 16th, they will do their Acoustic Roots set at sunset - a rare acoustic performance the band has only played in the US one other time. Doors August 15 open at 5:30pm, show 6:00pm. Doors August 16 open at 3:30pm, show at 4:00pm.

Baltimore-based social media company Phantasy Tour today officially unveiled their first series of live music trading cards. These high quality, collectible trading cards feature photos of top touring bands from various musical genres. The front of each card displays a photo of the musician or band and the back includes biographical information, fun facts, trivia questions and a foil stamp of authenticity. With the concern of general health safety, we apologize that we must postpone the Pink Talking Fish performance on April 4th at the Fox Theatre. The new date and venue will be July 8th, 2020 at the Boulder Theater. All tickets from the April show will be honored.

Bay Area native, singer-songwriter Rachel Garlin will perform at The Lost Church on March 27th to celebrate the release of her latest indie-folk album, Mondegreens. Garlin’s ensemble will include the album’s producer, Julie Wolf, known to audiences internationally as a collaborator and touring side player with Indigo Girls, Carly Simon, and Ani DiFranco among others.

Today, The No Ones share the official video for their new single “Straight Into The Bridge,” the second from their forthcoming debut album, The Great Lost No Ones Album, out March 27 on Yep Roc Records. The first visuals from the band is a B-movie-ette without a plot, but the song is typically direct and transparent — right? Buck’s guitar leads the charge and McCaughey’s vocal is perilously intelligible.
