Circles Around The Sun and Joe Russo have announced the October 18 release of a new four song EP simply entitled, 'Circles Around The Sun Meets Joe Russo.' The electrifying collection stems from a completely improvised recording session at Russo's Brooklyn studio earlier this year.

One morning near the end of August, Todd Snider was relaxing with a visitor on the back porch of his house just outside Nashville, drinking coffee and shooting the breeze while his dog, Cowboy Jim, took a nap nearby. After awhile, Snider said to his guest, “I’ve got an album’s worth of songs, and I think the songs are telling me to make a folk record.”

Guitarist Slim Gambill, releases “Over Getting Over You” with an exclusive  Parade.com debut. Parade describes the track as "...a 70's pop R&B groove with infectious vocals and some funky guitar playing." “Over Getting Over You” is the first single from Gambill’s forthcoming solo debut,  Fake Jazz & Theme Songs.

Deeply rooted in the South, songwriter and performer Tony Joe White made one last musical trip back to the swamp before his death at age 75 in October 2018 — to re-record his deep and durable 1969 Top 10 hit “Polk Salad Annie” in his barn studio in Leipers Fork, Tennessee. Joined by bluesman Robert Cray, longtime accompanist Bryan Owings on drums, and a three-piece horn section, White turned his amplifier up and ignited the session, caught on this special vinyl-only release that’s out July 23, 2019 on White’s own Swamp Records.
