Over the course of many years of working in this profession, we in this field are lucky enough to be given the opportunity to meet countless musicians who have influenced us in so many ways. As fans, we create Paul Bunion like images in our minds of these people based off small snippets of themselves that they send out into the world, and can’t help but feel a bond with the version of themselves that they want to highlight, and sometimes even fabricate.

A warm, dry wind blew through the beautiful Vina Robles Amphitheatre in Paso Robles, California as a crowd gathered early to hear the classic rock band Foreigner, on Sunday, June 9th. The show sold out within minutes after being announced several months ago. The gorgeous new amphitheater, in a spectacular rural mountain setting, joined with Nederlander Concerts several years ago to bring big-name musical acts to the region.

The members of Raquel & The Wildflowers will tell you they’ve been together less than a year, but audience members at their shows say they sound like they’ve been together much longer. Based out of Westchester, NY, this band has an exciting, fresh take on the country/rock scene, with hits like “Run Towards the Highway”, Raquel’s first single, which charted #32 on DRT top country airplay charts (2018) and “King of the Jungle”. “King of the Jungle” aired for the first time Feb.

The forthcoming album release, 'This Is The Town: A Tribute to Nilsson (Volume 2),' out June 21 on Royal Potato Family, celebrates the songs of the legendary Harry Nilsson with performances by Cheap Trick, Martha Wainwright, Lauren Ruth Ward and more. Throughout this captivating set, defying expectations is a continuous theme. The 14 kindred spirits of Nilsson assembled on the collection are as stellar as they are varied in their art, each underscoring different facets of his songwriting.

Today, Grammy-nominated reggae/rock band Rebelution kick off the 6th annual Good Vibes Summer Tour with friends Protoje, Collie Buddz, Durand Jones & The Indications, Ballyhoo!, and DJ Mackle. Beginning tonight in Albuquerque, they'll be playing some of the nation's biggest amphitheaters in Boston, San Diego, across Florida and more through August. The tour also includes their return to the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre on August 24th as well as a performance that will be part of the second annual Summer Concert Series at NYC's Pier 17 on August 3rd.

Higher Ground Presents and Grace Potter announced today the lineup for the 2019 Grand Point North music festival, scheduled for September 14 and 15 at Burlington, Vermont’s Waterfront Park. Joining Potter this year are Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Lucius, J.S. Ondara, Lucy Dacus, Michael Nau, and Bailen. Other artists are expected to be added to the lineup. Two day passes are currently on-sale.

In a letter penned by Seth Avett, Grammy Award®-nominated collective THE AVETT BROTHERS revealed today that they will be releasing their new album, Closer Than Together [American/Republic Records], on Friday, October 4, 2019.
