The Harmaleighs honestly craft poetic, passionate, and powerful songs cut from a pastiche of indie, folk, pop and Americana. On March 7th Rock For Refugees is coming to Peckham, to host an eclectic night of live music from some of 2017’s rising stars, all in support of UNICEF.

The Bonus Wednesday Wanee concert night April 19th this year will be dedicated to “Remembering Butch Trucks” the long time Allman Brothers drummer who passed away last month.  The Wednesday performance, which is a popular event for Wanee fans, is an extra night of music available to those who have purchased three day tickets to the Wanee Music Festival.  It had featured Butch before and he was slated to be its headliner at the 2017 show.

Spring Awakening Music Festival (SAMF) is proud to announce a massive Phase 1 lineup for its sixth annual installment, taking place at Adams/Medill Park on Friday, June 9th through Sunday, June 11th. The son of a sharecropper, blues legend John Lee Hooker was one of the very first artists to break out of that genre and become a world-wide force. He based his sound on a driving boogie beat and lyrics that sometimes seemed to come from another world. To begin the centennial celebration of Hooker's birth year, Vee-Jay Records, a division of Concord Bicycle Music, will release WHISKEY AND WIMMEN: JOHN LEE HOOKER'S FINEST on March 31.
