Jon Chi's second solo effort, Another Rising Sun is a blend of Folk, Gospel, Americana and Jam, with honest songwriting and lyrics at the forefront. Jon’s songs have received major and college radio play, and have appeared in documentaries, commercials, and on NPR’s All Things Considered. Chi is the former frontman for the band, Rainmaker who found their fans among the jamband and World music scene.

Filibusta has announced a headlining, "No Handouts" Spring Tour. The tour is in support of his newest EP, Set Lasers on Funk vol. 1 which is scheduled for release on April 20th, 2015; the first in a three EP series scheduled for release throughout 2015 on Adapted Records. Last week Denver bluegrass fans were smitten by the presence of a seven-piece bluegrass super-group of some of our favorite musicians for a two night run at the Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom. Adam Aijala and Ben Kaufmann from Yonder Mountain String Band, Drew Emmitt and Andy Thorn from Leftover Salmon, Bridget Law and Bonnie Paine from Elephant Revival, and guitarist Larry Keel all shared the stage for a first tier, foot stomping picking party. Gipsy Moon opened on Friday night, bringing their soulful, eclectic sound to an upbeat collaboration.
For the first time at the annual Coors Light Carb Day concert, three bands will deliver an afternoon of great music at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Popular rock groups Jane’s Addiction, O.A.R. and 38 Special will perform at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, on the Turn 4 Coors Light stage in the IMS infield.
