This was my fourth Grand Point North festival on the Burlington waterfront. However, it was my first dancing with Grace Potter in the photo pit.
Imagine having to follow Neil Young and your sons after they’ve just slayed your own festival crowd with this string of set closers:

Welfare Mothers
Cowgirl in the Sand
Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
Cortez the Killer
F*!#in' Up

With 10,000 attendees this year, LMF donated $1.25 per ticket sold, plus parking revenue. This is the fourth year that the festival partnered with the club and previous fundraising efforts helped to rebuild the town’s skate park.
A big heart felt thank you to Peter Shapiro and Dave Frey, and all the staff and volunteers who helped to make Lockn’ Festival 2016 the best one yet! The music brings the love out of us all and flowing into the open air like the chem-trails! It's not as easy to see, but it sure is easy to feel and fun to capture. Thank you, Nelson County for opening your community to our community for this fantastic experience.
