It's been nearly a year since ROTHBURY's state-of-the-art "Party with a Purpose" inaugural event paved the way for the new generation of rock 'n' roll music festivals. The high-profile four-day affair tallied more than 35,000 attendees, representing 50 states. Fans traveled to Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan, to witness, participate, and celebrate music, art, and get involved in climate change and clean energy solutions.

Three auspicious but sonically distinct Nashville bands - The Features, Heypenny, and Protomen - recently earned coveted career boosts: They will all perform at the 2009 Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival as part of "The Road To Bonnaroo" competition sponsored by BMI, Mercy Lounge, and Budweiser Select.

The 2009 Pitchfork Music Festival, to be held July 17 - 19 at Chicago's Union Park, is right around the corner. As the diverse ingredients of the lineup congeal, there are a few changes to be made. Black Lips are now playing on Saturday and Michael Columbia are playing on Sunday.

Colorado's Mile High Music Festival, happening at the Fields at Dick's Sporting Goods Park on July 18 and 19, unveils yet another round of 2009 performers.

I attended the first year of Summer Camp @ Three Sisters Park-Chillicothe, IL in 2001, but haven’t been back since due to living out of state and making those tough festival choices we all are forced to make! After eight years of my absence, I came back to find a very different experience...but only compared to the first.

The second annual ROTHBURY Festival at the Double JJ Ranch in Michigan promises four days and nights of music by 60+ bands this July 4th Weekend.  Today, ROTHBURY announces a handful of new artists just added to the lineup.

Music, art, dance and above all, consciousness, will all bloom from the same good vibe bud June 26 through June 28 with the fourth installment of SONIC BLOOM. Set for the beautiful Mishawaka Ampitheatre, nestled in Poudre Canyon outside of Ft. Collins, Colorado, SONIC BLOOM is a whirlwind of camping, elite electronic music and human performance, all set to the earthy vibes of the Rocky Mountains.
