Hardly Strictly Bluegrass today announces the final artists for their highly anticipated 2023 festival in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park September 29-October 1.
The 2nd annual Mission Bayfest will be taking place for two days on Friday September 29th and Saturday, September 30th, 2023 off the shores of Mission Bay at Mariners Point Park in San Diego. This is the first music festival of its kind dedicated to Mission Bay Park; the largest man-made aquatic park in the United States. With over 7,000 attendees at their previous edition of San Diego Bayfest, the Mission Bayfest team brings an all-new festival to San Diego with a next-level lineup of reggae tastemakers.

Miami-based concert promoter and event producer GMP Live is thrilled to announce the return of North Beach Music Festival for its third year this December 1st–3rd, 2023. In addition, NBMF pledges to donate $1 per ticket sold to Backline.
Taking place at the Miami Beach Bandshell and the adjacent Bandshell Park, NBMF 2023 is a partnership between GMP Live, Dayglo Presents, The Rhythm Foundation, Miami-Dade County Tourism Development Council and the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.

The annual ALL IN Music & Arts Festival in Indianapolis returned for its second year this past weekend and with double the attendance from 2022. The 2023 installment played host to mind-blowing sets from Trey Anastasio & Classic Tab, Tenacious D (featuring Jack Black and Kyle Gass), Umphrey’s McGee + Led Zeppelin Dreamset featuring Jason Bonham, Joe Russo’s Almost Dead, Greensky Bluegrass, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Cory Wong, The Beatles Dreamset and many more.
On Friday, August 25th, the THING Festival returned to Port Townsend, WA, for its third season. The three-day event, curated by Adam Zacks of the Seattle Theatre Group, showcased an eclectic lineup on two main stages and three associated venues. One festival-goer described the experience as "a mostly chill-out menagerie." Of the two stages, the Jeremiah Green stage memorialized the Modest Mouse drummer who tragically succumbed to cancer in early 2023.

Jersey City's annual Latin Jazz & Salsa series, Pier Fest, is back on Friday nights this September. Produced by Riverview Jazz, the same organization behind the Jersey City Jazz Festival, this event is hosted in partnership with Exchange Place Alliance. The festivities will be held at J. Owen Grundy Plaza, situated at the convergence of Montgomery St and the Hudson River. The series kicks off on Friday, September 8th, at 6 pm and continues on consecutive Fridays until the 29th.
