Queerfolk Fest 2021 recently announced their debut festival, showcasing LGBTQ+ identifying artists and bands with a free live-streaming event from Club Passim in Cambridge, MA on June 12th. Sara Gougeon, a queer folk artist and graduate of Berklee College of Music, made this her mission after realizing the lack of venues highlighting artists like her. Gougeon embarked on her journey to amplify queer folk artists with the creation of her music company, Pineworks Creative.

This August, LOCKN’ fans are invited to embark on a new journey called LOCKN’ FARM SUMMER 2021, a concert series featuring three weekends of live music, food, activities, and camping under the stars. Today, the City of Atlanta’s Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs announced that the 43rd annual Atlanta Jazz Festival (AJF) will take place over Labor Day Weekend, Sunday, September 5 and Monday, September 6.
