When COVID forced the organizers of the first ever Earl Scruggs Music Festival to postpone the event to 2021, they figured there was nothing they could do. But following successful drive-in concerts in the US and Europe, and a well received first drive-in concert with Darin & Brooke Aldridge, we’re proud to announce that we can bring some of the magic of the Earl Scruggs Music Festival to live audiences on Saturday, September 5.

LOCKN’ has announced that the 2021 festival will now officially take place October 1-3, as always, at Infinity Downs & Oak Ridge Farm, LOCKN’s 387-acre property located at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Arrington, VA. A special “Steal Your Thursday” will kick off the festival weekend on Thursday, September 30.

Dayton, Ohio based jam quartet The Werks announced a much-anticipated return to the stage with a socially distant concert event called Riverwerk. Hosted on the bank of the Ohio River at Riverfront Live in Cincinnati, the band will play an outdoor multi-set show, with fans situated in designated socially distant areas. Hometown progressive rock quintet Peridoni will open the show.

Festival organizers announced today that MerleFest, presented by Window World, will be moving to the weekend of September 16-19, 2021.

Today, details for Follow The Light, a virtual music festival to be hosted August 29, 2020 – are unveiled. Produced by We Banjo 3 (WB3) as an ode to the band’s Irish heritage, the evening will feature musical performances by WB3, Gaelic Storm, Sharon Shannon, Nathan Carter and The East Pointers, with non-music festival features throughout the program.
