With less than 7 weeks until festivities begin, Desert Daze 2018 announces new lineup additions, daily schedules and new program information with more surprises on the way. The magnificent and quintessential shoegaze/dream pop group Slowdive joins the bill, along with modern West Coast psych rock/drone forerunners Wooden Shjips.

Magnolia Roads presents the 2nd Annual American Roots Saturday and Backyard Campfire Session at Dee’s Country Cocktail Lounge, inspired by the music that grew from the roots of America at honky-tonks and dive bars to backyards and campfires. It will feature artists who epitomize American Roots music through their blend of Bluegrass, Blues, Country, Folk, Jazz, and Rock n Roll, flavored with the deep grooves of the South.

Arise Music Festival’s eighth year was nothing short of passionate, creative and completely unified. There was no service on Sunrise Ranch, but a way deeper connection was found throughout attendees.

The fields began filling early Friday morning with a line of anticipated festival goers waiting to Arise to their fullest potential not only as music fans, but to thrive as a collective throughout the grounds.

The California Roots Music and Arts Festival is thrilled to announce their “Forever Redwoods Contest” launching today, August 15, 2018. The contest will run forone-month and the grand prize winners will receive two (2) Redwood Passes for life! Organizers of Hoedown On The Harpeth have announced the lineup of entertainers for the 2018 installment of one of Middle Tennessee’s fastest growing events.

Porter Productions announced the lineup for the first-ever The Town and The City Festival to be held in Lowell, MA on October 19th and 20th.  The festival, which will be held in multiple venues in downtown Lowell, will celebrate the adventurous spirit of Lowell native, Jack Kerouac, in an event which features both locally based and national touring acts.  Named for the title of his first major published work, The Town and City Festival offers Early Bird Two-Day Passes that will be available for just $35 for two weeks while supplies last.  They will be available tomorrow, Tues

Dozens of food samplers, a hot dog eating contest, a beer-and-cheese pairing, and live music from the Blues Brothers Bootleg Roadshow await guests at the Food Fest: Aspen Grove in Littleton on Sunday, August. 19. The event takes place from 11:00 am - 4:00 in the parking lot of the Aspen Grove shopping center at 7301 South Santa Fe Drive. Admission and parking are free, and guests can pay $10 for a dozen Taste Tickets to sample the food.
