Sweet dreams are made of this, as Relentless Beats is giving one of its marquee festivals a plugged-in upgrade with the announcement of Goldrush: Neon Dreams, October 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2022, at Phoenix Raceway in Avondale, AZ, just 20 minutes west of Downtown Phoenix. The three-day experience will build beyond past, kitschy, wild, west incarnations of Goldrush, creating a neon utopia complete with branded activations such as the Beatbox Silent Disco and the Roller Disco powered by White Claw.

Grammy Award-winning roots band Old Crow Medicine Show and John Doe Folk Trio (featuring the prolific singer/songwriter of X and The Knitters) have been added to the lineup for the first annual BeachLife Ranch Country & Americana festival, September 16-18 on the Pacific Ocean waterfront in Redondo Beach, CA.
 

Beloved indie electronic bands slenderbodies and Łaszewo are revealed to complete the full lineup of 2022’s High Ground Music & Arts Experience, presented by Levitate Events. They join an inclusive lineup set to perform at the diverse second year of the 18+ Colorado-based independent festival, which earned the acclaim of Westword Magazine as “People’s Choice Best New Music Festival” following its debut last year.

After three long years, Bonnaroovians from across the globe rejoiced as one of the most beloved music festivals returned to the farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival began 20 years ago as a novel experiment in festival concepts featuring mostly jam bands. The remote location allowed the music to continue nearly nonstop into the early morning. Interaction between bands was encouraged, and unique one-off jams evolved as a hallmark of the festival.

Festival season is underway here in Chicago and fans of pop art and energizing dance music are in for a treat. The annual Heatwave Festival returns to Douglas Park July 16th and 17th and features a wide variety of performers and artists. It is truly a change of pace from other well-known festivals in Chicago such as Riot Fest and Lollapalooza. With that change of pace comes an eclectic selection of artists to look out for if you're considering dancing your heart out in Douglas Park next weekend.

The 24th Rhythm & Roots Music, Dance and Food Festival kicks off with a New Orleans party of musical styles followed by traditionalists, little-known talent, fan favorites and new interpreters of the ever-expanding definition of roots music.

Known for its eclectic blend of music, food, and art, the 35th Anniversary of the Lowell Folk Festival returns in person July 29-31. With a musical lineup of acts from around the world, the festival will once again renew its rich history in showcasing the many tastes of Lowell’s diverse communities. This year’s festival will feature 18 ethnic food stands operated by local non-profit community groups, each offering a different traditional cuisine that showcases their heritage.

North Beach Music Festival returns for its second year this December 9th–11th, 2022, and will once again take over the Miami Beach Bandshell and the adjacent Bandshell Park.
