The 49th Annual RockyGrass Festival is returning in-person to Lyons, Colorado, this July 23rd - July 25th, and Mandolin, the tech-focused digital fan engagement company, will be livestreaming the weekend to give at-home viewers their own festival experience. In-person tickets are sold-out, but with Mandolin’s new Live+ platform, those who can’t physically attend will still be able to get in on all the action.

The Rocky Grass festival is part of Mandolin’s exclusive partnership with Planet Bluegrass to take all their festivals hybrid this summer. For the fans, the hybrid show value is clear - get in on a “sold out” or far away event, get high-res replays of favorite performances, watch stages and performances you’d never be able to get back and forth between in time at a real festival. And for venues and organizers, the value is just as obvious - a solution for ticketing “sold out” shows past physical capacities, replays for sale (the best souvenirs there could be), and fan data and behavior that cannot be learned through physical events alone.
Grace Barrett of Planet Bluegrass said “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Mandolin on RockyGrass and our other festivals this summer. RockyGrass has an incredible lineup that we cannot wait to share with fans near and far.”
Mary Kay Huse, CEO of Mandolin, said “RockyGrass is going to be an awesome event for everyone attending - both at home and on the ground. With Live+, we’re making sure everyone gets a top-notch festival experience, regardless of location and if in-person tickets have sold out.”
