Northlands is excited to welcome The Marshall Tucker Band this weekend on Saturday, July 10 at 6:30pm.

Led by original band member and lead vocalist Doug Gray, The Marshall Tucker Band came together as a young, hungry, and quite driven six-piece outfit in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1972, having duly baptized themselves with the name of a blind piano tuner after they found it inscribed on a key to their original rehearsal space—and they’ve been in tune with tearing it up on live stages both big and small all across the globe ever since. Gray is joined by B.B. Borden (drums), Ryan Ware (bass/vocals), Marcus James Henderson (keyboards/saxophone/flute/vocals), Chris Hicks (guitar/vocals), and Rick Willis (guitar/vocals). The Shana Stack Band, a local group from Keene, NH, will be opening.

With federal, state, and local health & safety guidelines changing daily, the venue is continuing to modify its ‘hybrid’ seating. Single ticket general admission is available for all shows. 2-person, 3-person, and 5-person socially-distanced pods are available for purchase for most performances. All attendees will park in adjacent lots and then walk to one of two audience entrances.

Next weekend, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and The Machine Performs Pink Floyd will take to the Northlands stage on Friday and Saturday respectively, both at 6:30pm.

Other Northlands announced performances include Umphrey’s McGee (7/23 & 7/24), Get The Led Out (7/31), Disco Biscuits (8/20 & 8/21), and Lee Brice (8/29).
