Disco Biscuits

As the sun dipped below the horizon on All Hallows’ Eve, children dressed in costumes—ranging from playful ghosts to ghoulish creatures—flooded the streets of Denver, ready to embrace a night of mischief and merriment. Halloween is a rare opportunity to step outside the ordinary and slip into another persona, a chance to celebrate the bizarre, bask in the glow of creativity, and share time with friends and family. However, deep within the heart of Colfax Avenue, something much darker was stirring. Something very much... alive.

The Disco Biscuits returned to Penn’s Peak on November 7th, 2024, for a second year running, setting the stage ablaze with an electrifying performance that ignited the room and left fans buzzing. The band—Jon “Barber” Gutwillig (guitar/vocals), Marc “Brownie” Brownstein (bass/vocals), Aaron Magner (keys/vocals), and Allen Aucoin (drums)—delivered a high-octane, exploratory journey through tight, dynamic jams that showcased their unparalleled improvisational chemistry.

The Disco Biscuits have united with Sixthman - the leader in festivals and music cruises for more than a decade - and Vibee to officially announce the inaugural voyage of SeaBisco Alaska, sailing September 9-15, 2025 from Seattle, WA to Juneau, AK, Sitka, AK, and Victoria, BC aboard the luxurious Norwegian Jade. Presale Sign-Ups are available now through November 24 at 11:59 pm (ET). Presales begin November 12 at 10:15 am (ET).

Renowned for their genre-defining “Trance-Fusion” sound, The Disco Biscuits are set to light up the stage at the Boulder Theater on Friday, February 7, 2025, as part of their highly anticipated TRACTORBEAM Bubble Tour.

Event Details:

Jon Barber of The Disco Biscuits will join forces with Ben Atkind of Elephantproof (formerly Goose) to perform on August 3 at Bearsville Theater in Woodstock. The evening will kick off with a set by Capital Region’s own SM INK.

“I’m excited to collaborate with Ben again. Our Brooklyn show was very well received, and I think we’ll deliver an even stronger performance now that we’ve got a show under our belts,” Barber said, referencing the duo’s June 1 performance at Future City Lounge.

The Disco Biscuits released their much anticipated ninth album Revolution in Motion to a sold out crowd at New York City's Webster Hall on March 29, 2024. This was not just any album, but rather a techno "Space Opera," where the Disco Biscuit band members are a subset of the characters.

The Disco Biscuits extended their nationwide Why We Dance tour with a performance at the historic F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts in Wilkes-Barre, PA, on Thursday night.

After more than a decade, Skydog Gypsy, featuring The Disco Biscuits’ Allen Aucoin on drums, alongside Dean Tovey on guitar, Aaron Goldberg on bass, and Josh Becker on keys, is set to reunite on stage. The special reunion concert, marking their first performance together since 2012, will take place on March 2 at Aisle 5 in Atlanta to honor the memory of the late Edmund (Eddie) Pharo.
