The Congress, Denver’s fastest growing rock band is heading out on the road to support their new album “Whatever You Want” through a slew of dates through the South East and beyond.The Congress’ debut full-length album, recorded at Denver’s Silo Sound by John Macy, represents the raw rock and emotion that has become synonymous with The Congress sound.

Jorma Kaukonen has been and continues to be an inventive player from his timeless music as member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band, Jefferson Airplane days, through out Hot Tuna, and his own dynamic solo career. All shows include Barry Mitterhoff on a variety of instruments. Barry Mitterhoff is a mandolinist who cannot be pigeonholed.

We’ve moved into the digital music era, but multimedia albums have neglected to make the transition into this new era as easily as singles. Technology has evolved to create opportunities never before possible, such as interacting with artists in a live setting. Ideas move fast, and it makes sense an artist would be at the heart of new, innovative and forward-thinking ideas that resonate.

More than four decades have passed since Alvin Lee stood front and center at the famed Woodstock festival with his band Ten Years After and told half million or so fans, “I’m Going Home . . . by helicopter.”
 
Forty-three years later, Alvin Lee hasn’t arrived at his destination yet, as the title of his new solo album, Still on the Road to Freedom, available August 27, 2012 on Rainman Records, will attest. “I don’t think I ever will,” he laughs.

The sound and look of Whispering Pines could be straight out of the early 1970’s, but don’t let that fool you-- this is a band that nods to the past, while blazing their own trail.  If you read anything on the band, one word will keep popping up again and again—authentic.

Just a few months after the June 5 release of their acclaimed debut BIG MOON RITUAL album, the CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD--Chris Robinson (lead vocals, guitar), Neal Casal (guitar, vocals), Adam MacDougall (keys, vocals), George Sluppick (drums) and Mark Dutton (bass, vocals)--is set to release the companion album THE MAGIC DOOR September 11 via Silver Arrow/Megaforce.

For over thirty years, The Fabulous Thunderbirds have been the quintessential American band. The group's distinctive and powerful sound, influenced by adiversity of musical styles, manifested itself into a unique musical hybrid via such barnburners as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap It Up.”  Founding member Kim Wilson spearheads the group as it evolves into its newest incarnation. “We started as a straight blues band.” vocalist and harmonica player Wilson says.
