There is one thing I know, a little rain will not stop an Umphrey’s McGee Fan. Last weekend, June 28th, in Kettering, Ohio, there was an epic rock show at the Fraze Pavilion. This was UM’s first show at this venue and it was bound to rock rain or shine.

Red Baraat were at the center of the biggest musical event of New York City’s summer season. The pioneering Brooklyn band were commissioned by NPR to produce a new composition – the sheet music for which was posted on NPR and other high traffic websites – with the direction to readers and amateur players to learn the music and be a part of the premiere of the performance on the steps of the Brooklyn Public Library.

The release date for STEVE AOKI’s new studio album NEON FUTURE I (Dim Mak/Ultra Music) has been pushed back to September 30.  Originally slated for August 12, the new release date will allow for additional production needs on the existing tracks.As a result of the album being pushed back, the Madison Square Garden show, originally set for August 16, has also been postponed.  The album was always meant to be released in advance of the performance as each ticket includes a copy of the new album.  A new date is currently being scheduled and wi
