Hard Working Americans, featuring Todd Snider, Dave Schools, Neal Casal, Duane Trucks, Chad Staehly and Jesse Aycock, has announced the release of The First Waltz on October 28. The First Waltz is both a live album and live concert rockumentary film, which will be sold together in a special two-disc package via Melvin Records/Thirty Tigers. Today, The String Cheese Incident announced the first leg of their national headline tour.  They will be playing several dates this fall and winter beginning November 4, 2014 in Washington DC.  The second leg of the tour will be announced soon.

Funk Life, the quintet’s follow-up to 2013’s Onward! is set to be released next spring. As the band’s fourth full-length album, Funk Life will deliver all of the classic Booty Band elements of deep grooves and smoking horns, with a smattering of special guests.

Chicago's Pop-Folk-Rock outfit The Future Laureates announce today they will release their forthcoming EP Here and After on September 23rd. The band teamed up with Grammy-nominated producer Chris Grainger, best known for albums with Wilco, Switchfoot, and Sixpence None the Richer (including hits "Kiss Me" and "There She Goes").
