The final day of Harvest was one of celebration. We managed to have perfect weather, and even Yonder Mountain String Band was singing the praises of clear skies. As usual, some of the best shows happened on Saturday, the day when we all try to cram in as much music and fun as possible…ready-but-not-ready for our journey home the next day.

Leftover Salmon’s 2015 Winter Tour will visit the Mountain West region, in the heart of the winter months. Highlights include: Big Sky Big Grass in beautiful Big Sky, MT, with a two night run in Victor, ID in between. Performances in Missoula (with guests Hot Buttered Rum), Boise, and Park City (with guests Hot Buttered Rum) precede another pair of two night runs in Colorado in Durango, Telluride. The tour closes out with an appearance at WinterWonderGrass in Avon, CO.

Last June, the genre-defying progressive sextet Umphrey’s McGee released their eighth studio album Similar Skin via their own independent label, Nothing Too Fancy Music.
