Today, Jazz Middelheim, which is being held from 3 through 6 August in Antwerp’s Park Den Brandt, is announcing several of the artists that will be performing this summer. Randy Weston, Bill Frisell ‘All We Are Saying’, Mingus Big Band, and Tony Allen Quartet: Tribute to Art Blakey have all confirmed that they’ll be in the park in Antwerp on 5 August. Ruben Machtelinckx will be demonstrating the various forms of his art on the Club Stage.

Blonde Roses, a New Orleans four-piece rock 'n' roll outfit, blends alternative grit and southern blues to create a harmonious union. Molly, Harry, Anthony, and Albert are a group of lifelong friends ready to set a stage for a longstanding career in music. Originally formed as a five-piece band known as The Wooden Wings in 2008, the group shifted and changed to Blonde Roses - the perfect balance between "sassy and feminine."

When guitarist Jay Geils passed away last week at age 71, he left behind a legacy of wonderful music, not only for the blues-rock sounds he created within his namesake. J. Geils Band, but also on several albums he recorded for Stony Plain Records that explored the music of his formative years – jazz and swing – instilled in him by his father.

Eddie Vedder will co-headline the Bourbon and Beyond Festival this fall.  The festival takes place in Louisville, Kentucky on September 23rd and 24th. Eddie Vedder's performance date is TBD.

With a varied mixture of some of the best performing musicians in the live music universe, Phil has kept his musical journey fresh by constantly and consistently putting together bands featuring dynamic, exciting musicians and singers working together toward keeping the music of the Grateful Dead moving forward into the future.
