Returning to the scenic banks of the American River in Northern California on the last week in September, devotees of jam band/Americana music, nature, surprises, and bohemian goings-on – an environment one might call “Just Exactly Perfect” – will reconvene at the second annual gathering, dubbed the Just Exactly Perfect Festival.

The word photography means to “write with light.” The human eye, like a camera, needs light to create images, our lens to the world. Join us for a very special exhibit chronicling Seva Foundation’s 4th decade of restoring vision.

From eye-care facilities in the high mountains of Asia, to training programs for eye specialists in the desert Southwest of America, Seva has developed global initiatives that have restored vision to 4 million people and counting.

Marin's favorite son (and biggest rock star) Bob Weir and the North Bay's iconic venue launching a whole new offering.  They're calling it Sweetwater in the Sun and it's going down Sun Sept 23 at Stafford Lake Park in Novato. This is a family friendly event, and in addition to our main stage (lineup below) we have a kids stage with 2 kids bands, face painting, magic, bubbles, arts & crafts and more.  Our legendary chef Gordon Drysdale is also doing all the food, raising the bar on what folks can expect from "festival food."

The final day of Lockn’ 2018 dawned hot and sweaty and ended in spectacular fashion with two sets by Dead and Co., joined by master saxophone player Branford Marsalis. A cloudy sky kept the atmosphere steamy until the afternoon when the hot summer sun broke through. Keller Williams got the MainStage started just after noon with a different entourage in tow than from the day before. This time he appeared with a group he calls the Grateful Gospel. The idea was to play music in the spirit of Jerry Garcia in the tune of Black Gospel music. The concept was born at Lockn’.
