Eclipsing 2850 live performances on their recent Fall Tour, Dark Star Orchestra has announced another slew of dates for 2019. Focusing on the American Southeast, the tour has the band performing five shows in Florida before weaving north and hitting key spots in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina & Alabama. The spring tour punctuates the band’s 2019 plans even further.

3/28 - St. Petersburg, FL - Jannus Live

Dead On Live, a multi-instrumentalist Grateful Dead cover band will perform at The Capitol Theatre on Friday, December 14th. This impressive cast of world class musicians is working with Asbury Audio to recreate a modern-day, monster sound system based on the Dead's historic Wall of Sound and are among a group that are turning to the sounds and styles of the world’s most freewheeling band (Noisey).

After taking a brief hiatus from touring to compose film scores for the Woodstock Film Festival selected documentary, Catskill Park as well as HBO’s I Wanna See You and Call to Action, Anthony, now 34, sees the world through a more focused lens. “Scoring was invaluable to my evolution as a songwriter,” he says, “but I grew to miss telling my own stories.”

The 10th annual California Roots Music and Arts Festival has announced their second round of artists. Joining an already impressive lineup are scene favorites Rebelution, Dirty Heads, Pepper, Collie Buddz, The Green, and Alborosie. Making their debuts at the event are Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, UB40 feat. Ali & Astro, Kabaka Pyramid, The Elovaters, and Roots of a Rebellion. Also a special Matisyahu set performing the set list from his classic Live at Stubbs album rounds out the announcement.

Swedish producer Carl Garsbo, better known as Kasbo performed a marathon of a night on November 30th at San Francisco’s Mezzanine spanning two separate sets prompted by the community’s unwavering devotion. As his most recent “Places we Don’t Know Tour: Part 2” stopped by the Bay Area, his fans immediately illustrated their support. A second, earlier set was added to San Francisco’s agenda to accommodate the high demand of a first performance that sold out almost immediately.
