JOE SATRIANI’S 18th solo album, Shapeshifting, debuts today on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart at #8!  The album also debuts on the Top Internet Albums chart at #3 and on the Core Genre: Rock chart at #4.  SATRIANI last made an appearance on the Billboard charts in 2018 when his What Happens Next album debuted at #9 on the Top Albums chart.
 

Ace Entertainment, a Philadelphia-area multi-media music content production company, has announced the release of its first-in-series music tribute documentary: “Lest We Forget: Kofi Burbridge.” The 32-minute film focuses on the life, music and influence of the late Kofi Burbridge - an American musician of extraordinary talent who passed away February 15, 2019 from heart complications.  It will be available for streaming at www.LestWeForgetMusicians.com on Friday, May 1, 2020.

This week of Pickathon's A Concert A Day brings us GRAMMY winners and nominees (Margo Price, Andrew Bird). We've also got performances from Brownout (side-project from members of the GRAMMY winning latin-funk orchestra Grupo Fantasma), whose latest album, Berlin Sessions, just dropped in March and was produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos.
