From bluesy murder ballads to foot-stomping folk, Nashville trio South for Winter has shown a new hand with album single “Always You.” The song’s upbeat stomp and clap rhythm, cheerful mandolin strumming, and boisterous harmonies throwback to traditional sing-along folk music - while the crisp production, anthemic electric guitar, and dancing cello bring the song into a contemporary Americana realm. Yet in true South for Winter fashion, beneath the lively, happy-go-lucky song melodies lie contemplative, topical lyrics.

NJ based blues rockers, Billy Walton Band today released their first single, “Can’t Love No One” from their upcoming LP Dark Hour, due out later in 2020. “Can’t Love No One” along with the album are being released through Harmonized Records.

Tonight, July 8th, The Disco Biscuits will air their performance from Red Rocks with Mickey Hart and Billy Kreutzman on Nugs.net at 8:30 PM EST. The famed three-set show, dubbed Bisco Inferno, was filmed at the legendary venue and will air for one time only. The band has also announced a special merchandise collection for the performance that combines many of their classical components with the aesthetic of the Grateful Dead, which is being sold exclusively at Hiline Merchandise.

Nashville-based quintet Rainbow Kitten Surprise have announced a special, livestreamed event - hosted by Topeka, a service that allows fans to connect face-to-face with artists via live interactive video - on Tuesday, July 14, at 9pm ET, to commemorate the genre-defying band’s sold out, two-night stand at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, originally scheduled for July 13-14 this year, but rescheduled to 2021 due to Covid-19. See the band’s post announcing the new dates
