Just a month ago, the outlook for youth turnout in the upcoming election seemed grim. Polls showed President Biden struggling with younger voters—more so than any Democratic candidate in recent history. Organizations like ours were preparing to go into overdrive to bridge the gap. It was a daunting challenge.

But then, something extraordinary happened.

Today, Brooklyn-based psych-pop trio Psychic Lines release their layered, expansive fifth studio album SUNSET ON SUNSET out everywhere now. Alongside the full project, the band shares a fun lyric video for "Lies I Tell Myself," a vulnerable moment of confronting difficult truths. The dynamic LP sees the band expand their sound with bright production, glittering guitar riffs and evocative lyricism.

The annual East Boston Latin Music & Dance Festival brings a day filled with Sonidos De La Gente (Sounds of the People) to East Boston Memorial Park Saturday, September 21, 2024. Now in its third year, the festival will feature a variety of local artists and dance groups spread across two stages from 1:00 - 7:30 PM. The FREE family-friendly event is organized by Sen. Lydia Edwards’ office in conjunction with ZUMIX, Veronica Robles Cultural Center, East Boston Main Streets, and the City of Boston.

Twelve years after the original release of their cult classic, Storm Corrosion, the renowned collaboration between progressive music icons Steven Wilson and Mikael Åkerfeldt (Opeth) returns with a special reissue. On September 27th, Kscope will unveil this genre-defying album in LP, CD, and Blu-ray formats, featuring a new Dolby Atmos remix by Steven Wilson, a previously unreleased live recording of “Drag Ropes” from London’s Royal Albert Hall, and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage.
