Ari Joshua, together with a brilliant ensemble of musicians, is thrilled to announce the release of their reinterpretation of 'Eyes of the World,' an iconic composition from the legendary duo, Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter. This fresh rendition arrives hot on the heels of the much-buzzed-about Dead and Company farewell tour, giving fans another avenue to celebrate the music that's touched millions.
Recorded at the revered Bunker Studio in Brooklyn, NY, the 'Eyes of the World' tribute session boasts an extraordinary lineup that includes drummer John Kimock, bassist Andy Hess, and keyboardist Eden Ladin. John Kimock, celebrated for his unique sound and contributions to the tours of Dead and Co bassist Otiel Burbridge and Phish bassist Mike Gordon, continues to make waves in the jamband scene. Accomplished NYC bassist Andy Hess, known for his work with Gov't Mule, The Black Crowes, and others, adds a rich layer of bass, grounding the music. Rounding off this remarkable quartet is international touring keyboardist Eden Ladin, revered for his skillful play and emotive performances.
'Eyes of the World' is a masterful reinterpretation, offering a delightful listen for fans of the Grateful Dead, Phish, and all who love improvisational rock 'n roll. This track perfectly encapsulates the magic created by this powerhouse quartet, delivering an unforgettable fresh take on a beloved classic.
"The Bunker Studio holds a special place in my heart," shares guitarist Ari Joshua. "Founded by my classmates Jon Davis and Aaron Nevise, I witnessed its inception and made music in its early stages. This session was a dream, working with some of the world's best players like Kimock, Hess, and Ladin."
