On Saturday March 12th, B Chord Brewery presents a night of psychedelic jams, upbeat rock, New Orleans funk, and deep blues featuring Born Cross Eyed ("Northern Virginia's #1 Grateful Dead Tribute Band"), world traveled guitarist/vocalist Sol Roots, and more. The scenic B Chord Brewery is located in Round Hill Virginia, and the live music entertainment will be provided from 5:30pm until 11pm.
B Chord has provided many live outdoor and indoor shows over the last year and have made a point in helping give back to the local community, as well as showcasing some of the best in national, regional, and local DMV area musical groups.
The Saturday March 12 music lineup will also include special guest Mateo Monk (of Thievery Corporation, The Archives) who will be sitting in with the Sol Roots Trio, and also fantastic opening acoustic acts the Window Panes, and Mike McCabe!
Born Cross Eyed is Northern Virginia's #1 Grateful Dead Jam Tribute band. The group consists of some of the area's most talented jam musicians with over 30 years experience. Formed by some of the first DMV dead cover bands, such as On the Bus, The Next Step, Crazy Fingers and the Other People. With the addition of their lead singer, Carrie M. Cain, the band encompasses a thrillingly mind blowing modern take on the traditional sounds of the Grateful Dead.
The Sol Roots band performs a mix of raw funk, deep blues, energetic rock, greasy soul, and hypnotic grooves. Sol is a guitarist and vocalist who has toured around the world with many roots, funk, blues and soul legends as a part of Music Maker Revue. The Sol Roots band has shared the stage with acts such as Jon Cleary, Soulive, Dumpstaphunk, Sonny Landreth, Eric Lindell, Roosevelt Collier, New Orleans Suspects, Cory Henry, Victor Wainwright, Shemekia Copeland, Jackie Greene and more.
