Seven-time Grammy winner Beck released his fourteenth album, Hyperspace, November 22, on multiple formats including a limited silver vinyl indie exclusive edition, only at record stores.
One week later, record stores across the country will have a 3” version of Hyperspace’s first single, “Uneventful Days,” as part of their Record Store Day Black Friday celebration. It’s the latest in a diverse line-up of 3” records made specifically to play on the RSD3 mini-turntable, a collaboration between Record Store Day and Crosley Radio intended to bring a little fun to desktops, picnics and basically anywhere you want to take it. Launched on Record Store Day 2019, with more than 7,500 turntables and more than 100,000 records released just this year, the RSD3 is bringing tiny back, in a big way.
Released on Capitol Records, Hyperspace is Beck’s most collaborative work to date, and “Uneventful Days" is one of seven songs on the new album that feature co-writing and co-production from Pharrell Williams. Others joining in on the album include Greg Kurstin (The Bird and the Bee), Chris Martin (Coldplay), producers Paul Epworth and Cole M.G.N., Sky Ferreira, and Terrell Hines.
