Campout For The Cause, a three-day roots music and lifestyle festival, will be held over Memorial Day Weekend, May 22-24, 2015, at Rancho Del Rio. The beautiful riverside venue is just 40 minutes from Vail, Colorado, and is an ideal spot for the outdoor event featuring live music, camping, yoga of all styles, stand-up paddleboarding and lifestyle workshops for individuals, friends and families.
Music headliners will include Campout favorites, Fruition and Elephant Revival, as well as the renowned singer-songwriter, Gregory Alan Isakov, who will strike a chord with what is sure to be a memorable festival debut. Also jamming on stage will be Bonfire, HONEYHONEY, Birds Of Chicago, and the darlings of Avon's WinterWonderGrass 2015, Dustbowl Revival.
For 2015, Campout For The Cause is proud to offer additional yoga classes on the schedule, which will be led by local yoga instructors, as well as Gina Caputo, the Boulder-based teacher and nationally known "Yogini On The Loose." Special guest Heath Perry will be holding lifestyle workshops throughout the weekend, and the performance art featuring Fractal Tribe should not be missed. New this year, a communal cooking area with a fire for roasting food will be available for all to use.
"We are expanding our workshops and our yoga offerings, and we are so excited to be bringing in great guest teachers like Gina," explains Scotty Stoughton, founder of Campout For The Cause and owner of Bonfire Entertainment. "Campout is all about going back to our roots. It's a gathering that's really anchored by authentic artists who create from the heart."
A limited number of three-day passes will be available for $109 starting on Tuesday, March 31. Prices will increase, pending availability, to $149. The first 300 ticket buyers will receive a special invitation to set up camp early on Thursday night, and will also receive exclusive access to the fireside family cookout and jam session, featuring acoustic performances around the campfire with Gipsy Moon, Fruition, Bonfire and more.
A portion of all proceeds benefit the international non-profit organization, All Hands Volunteers, and the Eagle Valley Land Trust, a local non-profit. This year, Campout For The Cause is proud to partner with American Rivers, a non-profit conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring America's rivers.
Campout has stated a mission to "Walk The Talk"-a platform founded in the commitment to inspire lifestyle awareness and event sustainability, along with the intention to foster a community of responsible and respectful festival participants. The festival is dedicated to staying a zero-waste event with low environmental impact.
Free water will be available on site to fill reusable containers, and each attendee will receive a free Klean Kanteen stainless steel mug for discounted beverages.
