Campout for the Cause, having just celebrated its 10th anniversary at the stunning Meadows in Buena Vista, CO, announced today non-profit contributions following the 2018 event, and a limited flash sale for 2019 along with a few new elements for the festival site.
As previously reported, all net proceeds from the 2018 Campout for the Cause were to be donated to Emmy's Friends and to the South Main Arts and Park Trust. Today the team at Campout shared that contributions topped out at $10,000, more than the event has donated in any previous year.
Additionally, a limited number of 2019 tickets are now on sale at the early bird price of $99. Both 3-day passes and RV passes are currently available through Friday at midnight or while supplies last. All RV pass holders must also purchase a 3-day festival ticket.
“The long journey to find home, and our tribe, has finally culminated in the Buena Vista Campout experience. We left the festival this year already excited and full of ideas for next year, it’s amazing how inspiring this gathering has become,” festival promoter Scotty Stoughton shared.
In part of patron feedback and new for 2019, Campout for the Cause will be implementing additional parking support, more water across the festival site, workshops and activities in and around the campgrounds, more shaded space for yoga, disc golf baskets, a Saturday afternoon tiki bar party at the pond, additional signage, a 5k run and children’s parade and separate, dedicated parking for RVs who require running a generator overnight.
Campout for the Cause 2019 is scheduled for May 31 - June 2, once again to be held at the Meadows in Buena Vista.
