Chris J Connolly returns this fall with another genre bending release of true craft on his forthcoming sophomore album, "Moving Maps". Drawing from a wide range of influences, the album finds Chris rediscovering his rock roots while interlacing an eclectic mix of instrumentation and further evolving his songwriting. Differing from his previous album that was primarily a solo effort, "Moving Maps" includes performances and inspiration from his live band members Pete Mancini (Butchers Blind) and Anthony Pravata (Miles to Dayton), and collaborative producer Scott Simon. Recorded over a two-year span, "Moving Maps" is a refracted portrait of family, separation, perseverance, and the bonds and challenges of modern human connections.
