Westside Motor Lounge is thrilled to announce the return of Mental Awakening, a two-day music and arts festival taking place on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, 2025. Presented by Crawfish For A Cause, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds and awareness for mental health and suicide prevention, Mental Awakening unites music lovers, local artists, and mental health advocates for a weekend of live music, art showcases, and community spirit—all with the goal of supporting critical mental health initiatives in the Atlanta area.

Now in its fifth year, Mental Awakening has grown from a backyard gathering with two bands into a multi-day festival that draws more than 2,000 attendees, hosts a dozen bands, and raises thousands of dollars to benefit local nonprofits working with individuals, schools, and treatment centers. This year’s standout lineup features Eggy, Shadowgrass, Kyle Hollingsworth Band, Clay Street Unit, Dizgo, Arkansauce, Nether Hour, Potch, Three Star Revival, Cody Matlock, Spaghetti Western, The Regulars, The Redwoods, and Tate Renner, offering an eclectic mix of jam bands, bluegrass, rock, and funk.

Festivalgoers can look forward to two full days of music, a wide array of food and drinks, and the festival’s signature crawfish boil on Saturday. The crawfish boil is a perennial favorite, and servings are limited, so advanced purchase is recommended. Westside Motor Lounge, located at 25 Echo Street NW, will once again serve as home base for this multifaceted event. Spanning nearly three acres, the venue offers an expansive indoor-outdoor setting complete with a full-service restaurant, two bars, Echo Room (a curated Jazz Kissa listening bar), shuffleboard courts, fire pits, ample seating, a vintage Airstream bar, and a performance stage that will host all the weekend’s live music.

Tickets for Mental Awakening Fest 2025 are on sale now, ranging from $25 to $70, with the option to purchase single-day or weekend passes. Crawfish servings for Saturday are available as a $10 add-on while supplies last. For those who cannot attend but wish to support this important cause, donations can be made via Eventbrite or Venmo at @crawfishforacauseatl, with all proceeds helping fund local mental health services and programming.
